Does any of this sound familiar?

You used to be the one who got things done

Something shifted, and your brain and body feel different than they did a few years ago. You can’t fully explain it, but you know you’re way more exhausted, depleted, reactive, and foggy than you used to be. Things that used to feel manageable now feel like trying to speedwalk through molasses. Every doctor you’ve seen and all the research you’ve done has given you pieces of the puzzle, but no one has connected the dots of your health and told you what’s actually happening in your brain and body, or why.

Our hormones do a lot more than regulate our cycles. Estrogen helps us focus, remember things, and stay on an even emotional keel, while progesterone is our brain’s natural calming hormone, the thing that keeps the irritability and anxiety in check. And that’s just 2 of the many hormones that are the building blocks of our health. When hormones start to shift and decline, whether after a pregnancy or as you move through your 30’s and 40’s closer to perimenopause, your brain and body feel it in ways that show up as exhaustion, trouble sleeping, intense emotional reactions, mood swings, brain fog, anxiety, rage, and difficulty starting and finishing the things that used to come easily.

For some women, this hormonal shift hits especially hard. Estrogen was doing the heavy lifting for focus and follow-through for years, and when it drops, the coping strategies that used to carry you can feel like falling off a cliff.

Why this is different

Root-cause clinical care, plus the support to make it stick

Most doctors, coaches, and programs look at one piece. In the Reset Program, you get both the answers about your body that you’ve been searching for, AND the real-life support to act on them, all from a Nurse Practitioner who looks at the whole picture.

Green moss-covered rocks on the shore with the ocean behind them
01

The whole picture

Our brains, bodies, and nervous systems all talk to each other, so we refuse to treat them in separate boxes. Rather than looking at one body system or through one lens, we view all of it as a single connected system, which is usually right where the missing pieces have been hiding.

02

Optimal, not "normal"

"Normal" bloodwork ranges are just averages across a huge population, and average was never your goal. We find what optimal looks like for your specific body, brain, and life stage, then build your plan around that.

03

Clinical care AND coaching

You need someone who can diagnose, run the tests, and prescribe when needed. But you ALSO need support to help you implement the changes. You don’t need a longer to-do list, so we focus on the steps are going to have the biggest impact with the least strain on you and your time and effort.

WHAT’S KEEPING YOU STUCK

You can’t “habit” your way out of a depleted system.

If you’re like most of the patients I work with, you’ve tried a lot of solutions.. The color-coded planner, the drawer full of supplements, the habit book that made perfect sense until your kid got sick for two weeks. The doctor who offered antidepressants or birth control as if those were the only two options. The bloodwork that came back “normal” even though you feel anything but.

Every single one of these skipped the same step: they put “one-size- fits all” solutions on top of a problem without looking for the root cause. Jumping to a fix before looking for all the pieces of the puzzle takes a ton of energy to keep up, which is exactly what you don’t have right now.

Your hormones, brain, body and nervous system are all on a tight rope, and a hormone shift is the thing that knocks the wheels off. Without addressing your hormones which is the biggest change, there’s only so far you can get.

Until someone looks at the full picture and builds a plan that accounts for all of it, you’ll keep cycling through the same loop: try hard, feel a little better, fall off, feel worse about yourself. You’ve been blaming yourself for years for not being able to make things stick, but the problem isn’t your motivation. You just haven’t had someone to put all the pieces together and look at the whole picture with you.

Imagine if…

You had a roadmap for your own brain and body

Here’s what that looks like on a regular Tuesday:

You wake up before your alarm instead of doing 2am math on how many hours are left. You slept through the night. And you’re still energized at 2pm, not white-knuckling it to pickup line on your third coffee.

You find your words. Mid-sentence in a meeting. At the pediatrician’s when someone asks you a direct question. You’re not standing in a doorway trying to remember why you walked in, and you didn’t miss the class party. Your brain feels as sharp as it ever was.

You sit on the floor and play with your kid, soaking in every word instead of running your to-do list in your head. When they do the thing that used to send you over the edge, you feel the irritation rise and you handle it. Calm voice, clear boundary. No snapping, no replaying it in the shower that night in a mom-guilt spiral.

The week before your period, you’re on the couch with your partner watching a show. No rage, no fantasizing about leaving. You knew what was coming, you planned for it, you asked for what you needed. It moved through like predictable weather instead of a flash flood.

Your sex drive is back. Not out of obligation or to keep the peace, but because you want to and you feel like yourself in your body again. No more going to bed early to dodge the conversation.

You booked the Tuesday night class. Or started the business idea you’ve been sitting on for two years, or picked up the hobby you can disappear into for three hours the way your husband disappears into golf. You have something that’s yours again, instead of a free hour spent standing in the kitchen. And nobody went without so you could have it.

And underneath all of it, you finally know what was going on. You’ve seen your own labs and seen what’s optimal for you, not a reference range built from a sample of unhealthy people. You know where you were depleted, which of your hormones were off, and what that was doing to your sleep, your mood, your focus, and your sex drive. You have a plan built for the life you’re actually living, not the one you’d be living with three free hours a day.

"After struggling for so long with irritability and PMS symptoms that got worse as I get older and after having a baby, and feeling like I was constantly fighting my own body and emotions every month, Julie truly changed my life. I feel like myself again for the first time in years. My mood, anxiety, sleep, and overall quality of life have improved more than I ever thought possible. It's rare to find a provider who genuinely listens and cares the way Julie does."

Program for Overwhelmed Women

The Maris Integrative Health Reset Program™

This is a 12-week program for women who are done being handed a plan and left to figure it out alone. I find the root cause of what’s been driving your symptoms, build a treatment plan around your specific body and brain, and then work together on making it actually stick.

Most clients tell me my first appointment is the first time anyone has ever sat with them and connected all the dots. That clarity alone changes things. What comes after it changes everything.

How it works

The 5-step process

Every step addresses the things that usually get missed in conventional medicine and generic wellness programs. Each one builds on the one before it.

01

Decode & Diagnose

You've been told your labs are "normal," but you still feel exhausted, foggy, and not like yourself. We start with in-depth labs: estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, cortisol, your vitamin levels, and your metabolic markers. All of it evaluated against what's optimal for you, not what's average across a sample of unhealthy people.

You leave with: real answers, a diagnosis if it fits, and a treatment plan built around your body. For a lot of women, it's the first time anyone connected all the dots.

02

Focus Flow

The brain fog. Losing your words mid-sentence. Starting things you can't finish. Walking into a room and standing there trying to remember why. Most advice about focus and organization was built on research done on men, and it doesn't account for how estrogen and progesterone affect attention and memory. We map where you actually get stuck and match tools to your real life and your hormonal stage.

You leave with: an understanding of why your focus changed and when, tools that fit the week you're actually having, and the kind of self-understanding that makes the rest of the program click.

03

The Inner Anchor

You know the snapping, the irritability, the one-small-thing-away-from-losing-it feeling, and the guilt that follows. For a lot of women that's a nervous system that's been running on empty for years. We find what's overloading yours and build the regulation tools small enough to actually use, in the chaotic overstimulated moments.

You leave with: fewer snapping moments, less guilt, clearer boundaries, and the ability to get back to calm faster and recharge when life comes at you.

04

Rhythm Reset

Your energy, mood, focus, and sex drive shift with your hormones across the day and across the month, so the same plan won't work every day. We map your patterns and build around them: how to eat, move, and plan for each phase, how to prepare for the week before your period instead of getting flattened by it, and what's actually driving the drop in libido and what can be done about it.

You leave with: a clear map of your own hormonal patterns and a way to work with your body instead of feeling like it's working against you.

05

Rooted Routine

The color-coded planner that lasted about two weeks is a familiar story. This time we layer in sleep, nutrition, and movement one change at a time, built around your actual capacity, with a Plan A for good weeks, a Plan B for busy ones, and a Plan C for when everything is falling apart.

You leave with: a routine that holds for years instead of two perfect weeks, and enough understanding of how you build habits that you can find your footing again even when life changes completely.

"Julie is professional, knowledgeable, and you can tell she wants her patients to feel better. She asks the right questions to understand the full picture of your health concerns so she can offer the most comprehensive support. I've seen many health professionals, but never felt as supported or heard as I did with Julie during even my first appointment."

Meet Julie

Why I built this program

I'm a Yale trained integrative nurse practitioner and I've been in clinical practice for almost ten years. Early on I started noticing a pattern. Woman after woman, describing the same thing in different words: exhausted, foggy, irritable, can't sleep, can't focus or motivate herself the way she used to. And almost every one of them had already been dismissed or told they should just "manage their stress better." Then it happened to me. Both my babies came in my mid to late 30s, and the hormone shift that followed took my focus, my sleep, and my patience along with it.

I built Maris Integrative Health to be the practice I needed, so that everything I had to piece together myself is already in one place. I look at hormones, mind, and body together instead of one system at a time. Once we find the actual cause, picking the treatment gets a lot easier, whether that turns out to be hormone replacement therapy, thyroid medication, something for mood or ADHD, supplements, or changes to how she eats, sleeps, and moves.

Women deserve to be listened to, not dismissed or gaslit when their symptoms don't fit the typical pattern or don't respond to the first band aid offered.

The Reset Program is that work in its most complete form, built for the woman who is done accepting “normal” as the best she can feel.

This program is everything I wish someone had handed me back when I was sitting in that fog, wondering what was wrong with me.

Questions women ask before starting

Frequently asked questions

Do you take insurance?

I work outside of traditional insurance, which allows me to spend more time with you, look at the full picture, and offer solutions that insurance limits access to. Superbills may be available for out-of-network reimbursement on eligible services, and some use HSA/FSA funds to cover some costs. Most clients find the investment more than worth it when they compare it to years of programs that didn’t work.

Does the program cost include lab work and medications?

Lab work, prescriptions, and supplements are not included in the program fee. Depending on your insurance, labs and medications may be fully or partially covered by your health insurance, and I’ll help you navigate that. I’ll talk through all of it before you spend a dollar, so it’s customized to your budget and there are no surprises.

What if I’m already on medication or working with another provider?

I’m so glad you have a provider that you like working with! I am happy to coordinate with your other providers (if you agree) so everyone is working from the same page. This program can be a valuable complement to your current treatment regimen.

What if I’ve tried programs before and they didn’t work?

Most programs were missing one or more pieces: the clinical root-cause work, the hormone piece, the habit tools, or the real implementation support. This program addresses all of these together. That combination is what makes it different.

I’m really busy. How much time does this take?

This program was built for busy women, that’s literally the whole point. Sessions are scheduled around your life, tools are designed to be low-friction, and changes are added one at a time. If you can carve out one hour per week and a few minutes of daily work, this will work for you. Most clients tell me the time they get back from finally having a plan that works more than makes up for the time they invest.
